Error ink cartridges are not installed properly (Error E5)
First power off the printer. Next, while holding STOP/RESET button, power on the printer.
While holding POWER button, release STOP/RESET button. Then push STOP/RESET button twice.
Wait about 20-30 second until the LED shows “0″. Then push STOP/RESET button four times.
Finally push POWER button twice. Last step is to turn off the printer by pressing the POWER button one last time.

Unplug power and USB cable.
Open door and hold power button.
Close door, then release power button.

I just hooked up my new Canon Pixma MP280 and cannot print anything because I am getting an error light that flashes P 2 and the color ink light is flashing with the 2.
I repaced Black ink cartridge and I have one led on not blinking. How can I turn it off? I tried to press Start button for 5 to 10 sec but doesn’t work. The led is still on. Can everyone help me?
